Cooking abroad: Burgers

Cooking abroad: Burgers

This week, I’m going to teach you how to cook some burgers.

We’re going to make the burger with a bit more than the regular mincemeat and onion so as to make it more flavorful.

Ingredients

500g mincemeat;

2 eggs;

3 garlic cloves;

½ onion;

3 common mushrooms;

4 slices of salami;

Chilli powder;

Oregano;

Black pepper;

Olive oil;

Salt

Cooking

Chop the onions, garlic cloves, salami and mushrooms. Put the mincemeat in a bowl and progressively add the chopped onions, garlic, salami and mushrooms, chilli, oregano, black pepper, and salt, all the while mixing the meat with the ingredients. Afterwards, add the egg yolks and once again mix with the meat.

Shape the meat into some meat patties (500g of mincemeat should provide you with 5 patties). Put a pan at medium heat and put some olive oil in it. When it’s hot enough, add the burger patties and leave them there until they are cooked.

Finally, just put your burgers in some hot buns or eat them as they are. Enjoy!
