Prilep Students in the International francophone theatre festival in Stara Zagora, in Bulgaria

The group of students from high school "Mirce Acev" studying the French language participated to the francophone theater contest "One character - a profession" organized by the French Institute of Skopje (see last article).

They won the first place and had the chance to attend the 23th Francophone theater festival in Stara Zagora, in Bulgaria. The troupe of students from Prilep were: Teodora Tasevska, Dario Ilioski, Borkica Tintoska, Simeon Meripushkoski and Simona Strizloska under the direction of the french teacher Mirjana Boskoska, and the with the help of the two volunteers from SEGA Yoan Schumacher and Albane de Lisle who wrote the sketch "A job can hide another one."

In the festival was also present groups from Czech Republic, Romania and a few Bulgarian cities as Varna, Sofia, Stara Zagora, Blagoevgrad, Velingrad, Kardzhali and Burgas. All groups were hosted in Stara Zagora from 14th to 17th April which allowed students to meet with other participants and and to watch their performances. In addition to the theatrical performances, they sung French songs and our voluntary Yoan Schumacher was part of this. Participants also had the opportunity to attend a professional theatre play which is playing now all around Europe.

The troup came back happy, full of enthusiasm and willing to be involved in new projects.
