Delegation of students and teachers from France in Prilep

The 16 march small delegation of 8 students and 2 teachers from the high school Alexis de Tocqueville of Cherbourg in Normandy,

France met 10 students and two teachers from the high school Gymnasia of Prilep. The objective of this meeting was to present Prilep to the French students.

Before this meeting the Macedonian had prepared a handmade map of Prilep with the most well known place or the locations who represent the most the city. This meeting happened in two parts. When the students arrived and after a short introduction, Mirjana Boskovska, the French teachers led the visit of Prilep. She presented the monuments and their history such as the clock tower, the ruins of the mosque, Sveto Preobrazenie, an orthodox church ect... On the main place, Mirjana showed us the tower of King Marko and his statue, she then told us the history surrounding the character.The visit ended in front of the statue of Alexander the great. In front of that statue the Prilep students presented there map and gave it to the French students. The second part of the afternoon started and the French volunteers and the four teachers gave free time to the students to spend some time between eachother. During this free time the teachers and the volunteers spocke about many things but the mosts important where some project ideas that where born during this meeting. This afternoon ended by some farewell and goodbyes but not before some contact information was exchanged. This meeting was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the French teachers Florence Giraud and Sébastien Fenouillere, Macedonian teachers Mirjana Boskovska and Keti Efremoska, the participation of the students and the French volunteers Sebastien Cloutour and Baptiste Arnaud.

Le 16 mars une petite délégation de 8 élèves et de 2 professeurs du lycée Alexis de Tocqueville Cherbourg en Normandie ont rencontres une petite dizaine d’élèves du lycée Gymnasia de Prilep avec 2 professeurs. Cette rencontre avait pour projet de faire découvrir Prilep a des français .avant cette rencontre les élèves macédoniens avait préparé une carte de Prilep avec des endroits qu’ils affection ainsi que les endroits qui représente le plus leurs ville. La rencontre c’est articuler en 2 partie à l’arrive des élèves et après une brève présentation Mirjana boskovska professeur de français nous a fait l’honneur de nous faire une petite visite de Prilep en nous évoquant l’histoire de chaque monument qu’elle a présente l’horloge dernier vestige de l’occupation ottoman de Prilep, les ruines de la mosquée, l’église Sveto Preobrazenie , de retour sur la place de la ville tout en désignant la montagnes et les tours de Marko elle évoqua l’histoire du roi Marko et montra sa statue la visite se termina devant la statue d’Alexandre le grand. Et c’est devant cette statue que les élèves ont présenté leur carte et l’ont donnée aux professeurs français A ce moment de l’après-midi les volontaires français et les professeurs ont laissé les élèves un temps libre pour qu’il puisse faire plus ample connaissance et découvrir la ville. Leurs laissant du temps d’en apprendre plus sur la ville et leurs homonymes et les discussions vers des idées de projet commun furent aborder. La fin de cette après-midi ce finit pas des au revoir ainsi que des échanges de contact entre les professeurs.
